    FSW17D – Hydraulic Flange Spreading Wedge Twin Tool Kit

    The FSW17D is a Hydraulic flange spreading tool kit used to separate flange joints for maintenance, Installation, testing and decommissioning. The kit contains two FSW17 spreading wedge Tools, stepped blocks and safety blocks but a hydraulic pump and hoses will be required to operate the tools, they are packaged in a robust carry case for easy transport and storage.

    The FSW17D:

    • Requires a minimum flange gap of 6mm (0.24”)
    • Spreads the flanges with a parallel action ensuring a full 15mm Jaw step contact is maintained for safe and stable spreading.

    The FSW17 produces a maximum spreading force of 163kN (36644lbf) per tool 326kN (73288lbf) when used in pairs and the maximum hydraulic pressure of 700bar (10,000PSI) is applied.

    A powerful and portable Hydraulic tool, the FSW17 weighs only 7Kg (15.4lbs) and is the correct hydraulic tool for medium and small sized flange joints that require spreading.

    The FSW9D is a mechanical flange spreading tool kit used to separate flange joints for maintenance, Installation, testing and decommissioning.
    The kit contains two FSW9D spreading wedge tools and all items required to operate the tools safely, it is packaged in a robust carry case for easy transport and storage.
