Technical Director

John Morgan

Being fascinated by all things mechanical from a young age, it was natural for John to leave school and enter the world of engineering. His first appointment as a Welding Apprentice with British Rail led to him being accepted on to the Engineering sponsorship scheme and graduating from Glasgow University with a B.Eng in Mechanical Engineering.

John developed his knowledge and experience through employment in a manufacturing company producing light industrial and domestic wind turbines. He then opted to broaden his experience through the position of design engineer ultimately becoming Engineering Manager with 4C Design, an engineering design consultancy.

In 2006 John joined Equalizer International a design, manufacture and distribution company focused on flange maintenance tools as Engineering Design manager. He progressed through Group Engineering and Operations Director positions to become Managing Director in 2016.

In 2021. discussions between John and Marc Gerrard sparked a realisation of common goals and ethos - RenQuip Ltd was formed to fill an identified gap in the market.
