The FSW17K-BRONZE is a Spark Resistant Hydraulic flange spreading tool kit used to separate flange joints for maintenance, Installation, testing and decommissioning.
The kit contains a FSW17 BRONZE spreading wedge Tool, bronzed stepped blocks, Non Ferrous safety block and safety lanyard but a hydraulic pump and hose will be required to operate the tool, it is packaged in a robust carry case for easy transport and storage.
The FSW17 BRONZE:
- Requires a minimum flange gap of 6mm (0.24”)
- Spreads the flanges with a parallel action ensuring a full 15mm Jaw step contact is maintained for safe and stable spreading.
The FSW17 BRONZE produces a maximum spreading force of 163kN (36644lbf) when the maximum hydraulic pressure of 700bar (10,000PSI) is applied.
